Student-Driven AI Policy Recommendations
This zine is part of an ongoing effort to imagine what participatory governance of AI could look like in higher education. Rather than treating policy as something written behind closed doors, we invited students to co-design recommendations based on their own experiences using generative AI in class. Their zine offers practical guidance for instructors and peers, and serves as a reminder that meaningful AI policy emerges from dialogue, not directives—when those most affected have a hand in shaping the rules.

What is a zine?
A zine (short for "fanzine") is a self-published, small-circulation publication that often features creative, personal, or alternative content. Zines have a rich history in DIY culture, activism, and community organizing, serving as accessible platforms for sharing ideas, art, and perspectives outside mainstream media channels.
